First Snow!

The Californian in New England weather jokes are starting to age a bit, but the first plow-able snow of the season did get my heart pumping. The trees and branches I see everyday were suddenly transformed under a blanket of snow last night, and the sidewalks and road one white surface. Our little side street became … beautiful. I was eager to get out and photograph my snow draped car this morning, something else very familiar yet transformed:

I took these in the bright afternoon light today as it was all dripping away. I know this weather will get tiring and more annoying than anything, but right now I look forward to it again. Perhaps in the next storm I will work on some tripod shots of snowy streets. Hmmm. Well, regardless, it feels like I’m getting my photo work flow back as I took these pictures and am posting in the same day! Speed demon!
